Haylou LS05 WF

This policy describes how Haylou LS05 WF (“the App”) handles information when you use it. The App is an unofficial companion that lets you browse and install watch faces on a Haylou LS05 watch over Bluetooth.

Haylou LS05 WF is not affiliated with Haylou, Zepp, or the official Haylou Fun app.

1. Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account with us. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or payment card details.

Data stored only on your device

• Haylou Fun numeric account ID you type in. Used only to talk to the watch over Bluetooth. Not uploaded to our servers.
• Favorites, install count, and UI preferences (DataStore).
• Cached watch-face files and local BLE diagnostic logs (device name, Bluetooth address, protocol traffic). These stay in app storage unless you copy them off the device yourself.

Data processed on our Firebase backend

• The App reads a public catalog of watch faces from Google Firebase Firestore.
• The App downloads watch-face images and .bin files from Google Firebase Storage.
• After a successful install, the App increments an anonymous download counter on that watch face. No user ID, device ID, or Haylou Fun ID is attached to that update.

Bluetooth and nearby devices

The App scans for and connects to a Haylou LS05 watch. It uses:

• Bluetooth device name
• Bluetooth MAC address
• Watch-face bytes sent to the watch

This data is used only to find the watch and install a watch face. We do not sell it.

Location permission

Android requires location permission for Bluetooth Low Energy scanning on many versions. The App requests approximate and precise location for BLE discovery only. We do not use GPS, maps, or background location tracking. We do not send your geographic location to our servers.

Purchases (Pro)

Subscriptions and unlocks go through Google Play Billing. Google processes payment. We receive purchase tokens and product IDs from Play so we can unlock Pro on that Google account. We do not see your full payment card number.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Free use may show banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads from Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect:

• Advertising ID
• IP address
• Device and app identifiers
• Approximate location derived by Google
• Ad interaction data

You can reset or limit the advertising ID in Android settings (Google → Ads, or Privacy → Ads).

2. How we use information

• Find and connect to your watch
• Download and install watch faces
• Remember favorites and Pro status
• Show ads (non-Pro)
• Count anonymous installs of each watch face
• Diagnose Bluetooth issues on your device

3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

If GDPR applies: contract (app features you request), legitimate interest (anonymous download counts, ads where allowed), and consent where required for personalized ads.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We share data only with:

5. Retention

• On-device data: until you clear app data or uninstall.
• Firebase catalog and download counters: kept as product data, not tied to you.
• Ad and Play data: per Google’s policies.

6. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Security

Watch-face files travel over HTTPS from Firebase. Bluetooth traffic is local to your phone and watch. No method is 100% secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold. Email mappdev.p@gmail.com.

To delete on-device data: Android Settings → Apps → Haylou LS05 WF → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall.

To stop ads identifiers: reset advertising ID in system settings, or upgrade to Pro.

Play purchases: manage or cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Effective date” at the top will change. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
